LINKEM S.p.A., born in 2001, is a leader provider of broadband Internet services, through the most innovative wireless technologies.

Since 2003 LINKEM manages a network of Wi-Fi hotspots, offering Internet access in premium locations, like the main Italian airports, hotel chains, motorway service stations, touristic harbors, congress centers and several others (libraries, shopping malls, sport centers, etc.) spread across the whole Italian territory.

Since 2004 LINKEM designs, rolls-out and manages flexible and scalable networks, making broadband available in areas not reached by such service. Today LINKEM’s telecommunication networks serve around 350 towns.

At the beginning of 2008 LINKEM confirmed its leadership in the Italian wireless market, participating (through its mother company AFT S.p.A.) to the Wi-MAX auction and gaining 13 regional licenses, reaching over 80% of Italian population.
