LINKEM has the objective to deliver wireless broadband to residential and companies through wireless infrastructures, with a special, but not exclusive, focus on areas not fully reached by wired broadband.
The company is now delivering its service to 500 towns accounting for about 700,000 inhabitants.
The milestones of LINKEM’s development plan are:
- build on the current market leadership and presence of almost 1000 networks indoor and outdoor;
- merge the current infrastracture with a fully owned infrastrcture of more than 150 sites across Italy;
- Reinforce national competitive edge and launch an international wireless broadband service focussed,
although not exclusively, on the wimax technology.
